Alopecia is a serious matter which has effects on men and women. Anybody that’s having hair loss does not have too many options for hair styles. Options are to live with it, shave it, or try to get it back. The options are many if you are making an attempt to get your hair back.
Hair is growing all the time. But there is a % that is not, that’s the hair that’s in the inactive stage. Also this is the hair that often falls out. Folks become bald are perhaps because the hair in the dormant stage is more of a percentage then the hair that can be grown back.
Stress caused from surgery or plain stress causes alopecia. Weight gain is one more reason why some people have baldness. Any chemical inequality from pregnancy or health problem can cause hair loss too.
It all relies on how your alopecia has happened but there are a few things that may be done. If the alopecia had been because of pregnancy then you might get a pill that replaces the hormone loss, it is prescribed by your physician. If you have experienced your alopecia from an illness or if it is indeed stress related you should see your physician. You will have to find further if the baldness is genetic. (more…)

Male pattern baldness is caused by a change in male testosterone, the hormone responsible for making a man more hairy than a woman. At a certain age this hormone changes and DHT or dihydrotestosterone is manufactured in the male body, causing baldness and it is when this happens that it is time to take a look at the virtues of Procerin vs Propecia.
For a reprieve from hair loss Procerin and Propecia block the body’s natural ability to manufacture DHT. This means that additional hair loss with be avoided and in some cases, even reversed as long as the loss is not too great. If you are already walking around with a smooth pate, there is no harm in trying, but very little guarantee of success. Propecia is a prescription drug, while Procerin can be purchase OTC at a pharmacy. Both these products are only recommended for men.
A natural mixture of herbs, minerals and vitamins is used in the manufacture of Propecia, it works best if used between ages eighteen and forty when the signs of baldness are just starting. It is specifically formulated for men and although these natural substances won’t harm women, there is no evidence available to support any evidence of hair loss prevention in them. It has however proven to slow and even prevent baldness in men. (more…)

Men and women around the globe are concerned about thinning hair. Concerns on how to avoid it and how to stop it are as universal as global warming. Here are a few tips on how balding begins and how to stop hair loss. People excessively lose hair due to a variety of reasons. Therefore, finding out the reason for it is just as important as finding the remedy.
We tend to blame loss of hair on everything else but ourselves. The truth is, we are sometimes the cause. Crash diets, for instance, deprives our body of nourishment. When the hair follicle receptors do not get enough nutrients, the hair can become malnourished. At first, this results to thinner strands. Eventually, the hair follicles die causing baldness.
Another major cause of hair loss is stress. Too much stress, whether emotional, mental or physical, can cause you to shed hair way beyond the normal range of fifty to a hundred strands daily. So, before it becomes too late, value yourself. Do not allow any situation or anyone, for that matter, to stress you beyond what your body can handle. (more…)

Hair loss among men comes with the territory of getting older, although some men go through it earlier than others. Some men will do anything to keep their long locks, even if that means adopting a comb over. Millions of men in the United States have baldness, or to give it the correct name Androgenetic Alopecia. So far hair loss cannot be attributed to one specific element.
Apparently there’s a hair loss gene, some attribute stress for bringing it on quicker. Whatever the determining factors there are ways to combat Androgenetic Alopecia. With a process known as Laser Hair Regrowth you could fight back against baldness by stimulating damaged hair follicles into regrowth.
The process of Laser Hair Regrowth is a non surgical one. It takes place is specialized clinics who put you on a detox plan and use certain shampoos and conditioners to coincide with the treatment. Laser hair regrowth treatments can be performed in a number of different ways. You may sit under a light and undergo a process called photo-biostimulation that allows laser energy to emit onto your scalp. It is though that this stimulates nutrients to flow into the hair follicles which will in turn promote hair regrowth. (more…)
